Wendy is a fulltime Melbourne based milliner. She has worked from her Melbourne locations over the last 7 years.
Her new shop in amazing The Emporium shopping centre puts her in the prime location in Melbourne CBD.
Wendy has been participating in Oaks Millinery as well as the UK X-Terrace events for several years.
In 2022 Wendy Scully Millinery was 2nd runner up in the Lilian Franks Millinery Award at the Myers Fashions on the Field. Wendy also provided the headpiece for the overall 2nd placed Myers ‘fashions on the field’ winner with a unique ‘crushed glass’ headpiece.
She also collaborates with designers for runway events. As a trained sculptor and highly experienced design teacher, her headpieces are unique and easy to wear.
Many people comment that the hats are "as light as a feather". The use of vintage materials, hand made feather flowers, hand dyeing combined with custom made and vintage hat block shapes, these are some go the aspects making Wendy's hats unique.
And always "one only" there is no other hat like it made, each piece is totally unique. You don't want to be seen in the same hat as someone else! All seasons catered for, with an individual design service ( in person or digital) with a range of hats ready-to wear in her shop. As always- anything is possible!
