My name is Dianne Barbour & I live in Wagga Wagga, NSW. I have always enjoyed going to the races and dressing up, and for years had wanted to learn the art of millinery. I started learning millinery at our Community College under the guidance of Rose Organ and from there I have continued to learn from various talented milliners in Australia & overseas.
I love the process of creating headpieces to complement clients’ outfits. Each piece is hand made using traditional and modern millinery techniques, paying particular attention to detail.
My clients have won FOTF all over NSW and interstate. My favourite memory is when I donated a headpiece as a prize for FOTF at the Gundagai Cup. It ended up being a perfect match to the winner’s outfit for Wagga Gold Cup the following month. She then ended up winning Lady of the Day in it!
